The Sony Rootkit controversy
If a reputed company such as Sony can install rootkits on your computer, why should we blame small guys like Kazaa. Sony's action has really disappointed many privacy advocates throughout the world..Soon, every Fortune 100 company could install rootkits on your machine in the guise of collecting 'confidential market research to serve customers better' :-)
