A client recently emailed me saying his department is discarding all intrusion detection honeypots as his security audit found it to be a security threat!

I think thats really stupid... agreed honeypots are risky if designed improperly,but proper design of intrusion detection honeypots can ensure that intrusion detection honeypots are not dangerous.

Tape data storage? Are we still in the Middle ages?

Why do organizations still invest in tape data storage? For God's sake, we are in the internet age.. and sequential data storage should have died aeons ago
