Blade server reviews

Have you been visited by your friendly neighbourhood server salesman who has sold blade servers as the latest hot product and ideal for your data centers? Do you realise that blade servers or their equivalents have been sold by mainframe vendors for almost 40 years now!
After reading blade server reviews, I am convinced that blade servers are another outrageous reinvention of the mainframe wheel with new buzzwords.

Are disk backups safe?

Are disk backups safe? Have any of you disk recovery professionals asked that question? I personally think that disk backups are extremely dangerous to organizational security and every disk recovery professional worth his salt needs to watch where he places his disk backups.
